Refunds & Returns Policy

1. General Provisions

This Refunds & Returns Policy (“Policy”) applies to all purchases made through Dread Clothing (“we”, “us”, or “our”) via our website or any other official sales channel. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms and conditions set forth below.

2. Return Period

We offer a 14-day return period from the date on which you receive your item. To exercise your right to return, you must notify us of your intention to return the item within 14 calendar days of receipt.

3. Conditions for Return

To be eligible for a return, all of the following conditions must be met:

  • The item must be returned in the same condition as received, unworn, unwashed, unused, and with all original tags and labels attached.
  • The item must be returned in its original packaging.
  • A receipt or other proof of purchase must accompany the return.
  • Items are allowed to be returned due to fault, but we do not accept "change of mind" or "does not fit" returns. We provide a size guide to aide in accurate fit.

Items that have been worn, washed, altered, damaged, or are otherwise not in their original condition will not be accepted for return under any circumstances.

4. Return Process

To initiate a return, you must first contact us at sales@dreadclothing.co.uk within the 14-day return window. If your return request is approved, we will provide you with the return instructions and the return address.

Please note:

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
  • We do not provide prepaid return shipping labels.
  • Any items returned without prior authorisation or without the required return postage paid will not be accepted and will not be returned to you at our expense.
  • There is a 30% restocking fee for all returned orders.

5. Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges. If you wish to receive a different item, you must follow the return procedure outlined above for the original item (if eligible), and place a new order separately.

6. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Upon receipt of your order, you must inspect the goods immediately. If any item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, you must contact us without undue delay at sales@dreadclothing.co.uk. We will assess the issue and, where appropriate, arrange for a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

7. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return under any circumstances:

  • Perishable goods (including but not limited to food, flowers, and plants)
  • Custom-made or personalised products
  • Personal care products (such as cosmetics and beauty items)
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
  • Sale items, items in which are discounted by code 'sale code'  and gift cards

8. EU Consumer Rights – 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is delivered within the European Union, you are entitled to a statutory 14-day cooling-off period. This entitles you to cancel your order and return the goods within 14 days of delivery, for any reason and without justification.
To exercise this right, the goods must still meet the return conditions set out in Section 3 of this Policy.

9. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the outcome. If your return is approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please note that the time taken for your bank or payment provider to process and post the refund may vary and is beyond our control.

10. Defects

These items are hand made to order. They are printed, pressed and hand made to specification for each individual customer and order. Slight imperfections may occur in the print or alignment of the print on the t-shirt, but these are quirks of handmade custom clothing and do not constitute faults, damages or faulty goods. When purchasing with Dread Clothing you agree to the terms that our t-shirts are hand made and that slight imperfections may occur, and these are not faults or damages.
